Hi guys. I'm coming to you today with a huge review on Pam Hogg's show i saw during fashion week ( I know this is a little late but it's here.) I captured every piece from the collection so those who didn't get too see it can see it in person can see it here. Getting into the show was HELL! The show was supposed to start at 7:30 but started at 8:45. Very long wait but was definitely worth it. I instantly walked to the front so i could get a good view because i knew this collection would be packed and amazing after seeing footage from last years. I was stood right next to where the models exited to walk onto the run way so i had a clear view and could capture full length images.
The collection was by far the best i had seen during Fashion week. The variation and diversity of the collection shocked me. It was big and just kept surprising me. The Creative direction of the show was very unique; incorporating Dancers into the show was genius. I know i wasn't the only one in awe in the room when the Dancers came out walking with pointed feet down the runway. It was spectacular. The collection consisted of Dresses, Jumpsuits and and a few jacket and trouser ensembles. I liked the range. I particularly liked the jumpsuits looks. The sequin Jumpsuits and Fur head pieces were my favourite looks form the collection. Pams collection was very dark and also rich in colour. Red and black was the dominant colour throughout the collection.
I also loved the small elements of nudity within the collection. Both subtle and obvious. The model who came out wearing nothing but a Red and black coat received a strong round of applause. it was beautifully simplistic.
Pam Hogg is an amazing designer and i am definitely a fan of her work.
